“Pfizer just paid about $7+ Billion to buy a GLP (weight loss) drug company Metsaera. That’s a huge premium for a company - 50% over yesterday’s closing price - for a company doing NO revenue” 😊 😋
The weight loss drug market has become very competitive but it a ginormous market. Only 12% of US adults that are obese are using GLP drugs and the potential for the next 4 years is to get that number to 50%+. That means the market quadruples - 100% growth annually. There wont be only one winner however, so this is a small price for $MTSR ( ▼ 0.5% )
