The iShares Semiconductor ETF $SOXX ( ▲ 0.64% ) fell 4.8%, bringing month-to-date declines to 23%. Institutional selling hit high-beta chipmakers hard, including Micron $MU ( ▼ 0.11% ) down 8.9%, AMD $AMD ( ▲ 1.65% ) down 8.2%, and Intel $INTC ( ▲ 4.03% ) down 5.9%.
