“Nvidia dropped 18% on news of a free open source AI chatbot from China - DeepSeek, which was built at a thirtieth of the cost of other AI solutions. The fear that there may not be as big a need for its GPU compute chips sent the stock down sharply” 🤐 🤮
The Dow was good thanks to Apple, but DeepSeek hammered AI stocks
This market may not going to head back up quickly given how overvalued many of the technology stocks were, but be prepared for a sharp reversal on earnings news and positive comments from $META $GOOGL $AMZN and $MSFT this week and next.
